Bayer G4A 2022 Program for Health and Agriculture Innovators

February 28, 2022

This year, Hackquarters delivers the 5th Batch of the Bayer G4A Turkey. Aligned with its innovation strategy, Bayer’s G4A Turkey Program is a 100-day startup accelerator program supporting startups in the fields of health and agriculture to grow and scale their businesses via training, mentoring support, and Bayer’s partnership network. Participant startups have also had a chance to pitch investors in our network and raise money. So far in the program, 740 startups have applied, and 26 have been selected to the program. We had a good track record that many of the alumni startups raised investments and significantly improved their businesses.

The same as previous years, this year’s program also opened with a meetup. The meetup began with Hackquarters CEO Kaan Akın, where he shared the Hackquarters approach to corporate innovation; and corporate & startup partnerships aligned with the innovation strategy of corporates.

The meetup continued with Melis Soylu’s presentation from Bayer’s side. Melis gave us insights and details about the program. You can find more information about Bayer’s expectations and what startups can get from the program through the program website

After Melis’ presentation, Bayer mentors Serhan, Gökhan, and Cenk shared detailed information about the divisions of Bayer related to the Bayer G4A Program. G4A Verticals include consumer health, crop science, and pharma this year.

The meetup closed with the Q&A session. Mentors from Bayer were divided into breakout rooms according to the verticals, and startup founders had a chance to ask their questions to the mentors.

Applications are open until 20th March. Don’t forget to apply if you run a startup in healthtech, pharma or agritech.
