If you are following Hackquarters you should remember the ICUBE Acceleration Program 2nd batch call announced recently. Icube owned by Entertech and Istanbul University and supported by ISTKA (İstanbul Development Agency). For the 2nd batch, 23 startups were selected out of hundreds of applications to have the opportunity of training and mentorship, and eventually expansion for the UK market.

International Incubation Institute (ICUBE) aiming to prepare startups for sales, providing access to international markets, increase their capacity and network with potential investors. During the 4-month acceleration, program startups will get 11 training modules and receive mentorship support from 20+ mentors in different sectors. The program started with identifying the needs and current status of the startups in order to make the program more effective.

ICUBE kick-off event was on the 17th of October at Entertech, Istanbul University. The Kickoff event started with the opening remarks of Hasan Kömürcü, who welcomed the selected startups and announced the official opening of the program; and followed by the Lean Startup Session by Kaan Akın.
