LegalTech Startup Challenge Winners Announced

First in Turkey LegalTech Startup Challenge designed by Hackquarters and powered by Esin Attorney Partnership and Baker McKenzie left behind with good memories. The event, aiming to help the legal firms to improve their innovation process, brought key players of the legal industry and startups that can improve and enhance legal processes. Throughout the event, 10 startups selected from 90+ applications had an opportunity to introduce their products. In addition, legal industry problems and the future of the legal tech were discussed during speeches and the panel.

The event started with the opening speech by Kaan Akin and Eren Kursun. After that, Daniel von Devivere, Re.Invent Law, was on the stage talking about reshaping the lawyers' mindset and approach. The speech was focused on the current and the future of the legal industry. Following Daniel, 10 startups from the verticals specified by the program pitched their products and answered the questions coming from the jury and the audience.

Following the pitching session, the event continued with the Presentation and Fireside Chat by Dirk Hartung, Bucerius Law School, Yonatan Pinto and Cem Ucan from Esin Attorney. The last panel moderated by Ilay Yılmaz, Esin Attorney, with the participation of Nicolai Behr (Baker McKenzie); Cavit Yantac (Microsoft); Dilek Dayinlarli (ScaleX), focused on innovation in the legal sector and startup ecosystem.And the most exciting moment of the event…

Winners of the LegalTech Startup Challenge are:

1. techsign

eMahkeme is a web Service which unites two parties who are in dispute, along with a mediator tasked to resolve the issue at hand. The platform provides a secure and reliable environment for online dispute resolutions.
