The initiatives MediaMarkt is looking for are divided into three main headings: Retail Technologies, After Sales Technologies and Corporate Digitalization Processes. It is expected for the ideas of the entrepreneurs in the field of Retail Technologies would maximize the experience of the visitors in the process leading to the purchase decision in MediaMarkt's physical and online stores. For MediaMarkt, entrepreneurs in the After Sales Technologies should ensure that the processes experienced in the stores do not have a bad experience in the events that may occur after the sale. Initiatives in the field of Corporate Digitalization Processes should produce solutions that will maximize customer satisfaction in all areas, especially by increasing the flow in MediaMarkt's internal processes.
Applications for the MediaMarkt Startup Challenge will be accepted until April 20. After, selected ventures will have the chance to explain themselves before the jury on May 7. The venture, which will be chosen as the winner of MediaMarkt Startup Challenge, will have the chance to open up to the world by participating in the Retailtech Hub final, one of Europe's leading entrepreneurship competitions. The second venture will have the opportunity to carry out a pilot study in the MediaMarkt Turkey and Tekzen stores, along with a chance to offer their solutions to the Category Retailing Association.
