New ClimateTech Unicorns since December 2021

In 2021, climate tech startups raised ~$40b across 600+ venture deals, whereas in the first half of 2022, climate tech startups raised around $19 billion across 500 venture deals. Around 1,400 investors worldwide are interested in the next generation of climate change-related startups. According to the report from Climate Tech VC, entrepreneurs in the domains of mobility and energy are regularly raising the most investment, with outstanding food and water technology following in third place. Now there are 47 Climate Tech Unicorns as of 29 July 2022, valued at a total of $131 billion or more and having raised more than $46 billion in capital worldwide.
