When and why did you found your startup?

One night in the office, I read an article about a barter platform that enables SME and corporates to barter idle products and services. The financial model provided for businesses took my appreciation. I asked myself: 'Why don't I have an app in my pocket helping me barter with my peers?' That night I started researching the history of bartering, ended up a brand new model for c2c barter.
