Mumo is a storage fabric made from natural ingredients. It is produced by impregnating beeswax, pine tree resin, and coconut oil into certified organic cotton fabric. It emerged as an alternative to disposable plastics such as refrigerator bags and cling film in our daily lives. It is reusable up to 100 times and it helps people to realize the effects of single-use plastics. The co-founder Işınsu Kaya of Mumo, our alumni from the Sustainable Growth Program, told their story.
We founded Mumo in November 2017 to drive a change by creating awareness on the effect of single-use plastics and the effectiveness of the alternatives available for kitchen use.
We are a team of four. With two co-founders and two others in charge of production and marketing.
Reusability, natural ingredients, local sourcing, keeping food fresh for a long time.

The monthly growth rate of our revenue and users.
We would like to become a regional producer of beeswax wraps since we believe that it should become a widely available product. We would like to start exporting and increase our social impact by partnering with other organizations that are working to minimize plastic pollution.
