Selim Kervancı

Selim Kervancı is a graduate of Istanbul Technical University, Department of Electrical Engineering. He holds a master's degree in Business Administration from Vrije University in Brussels.

Kervancı held a number of roles in HSBC Group since 1996. He was HSBC Turkey Head of Financial Institutions and Correspondent Banking between 2001 and 2005, and Head of Investment Banking between 2005 and 2010. Kervancı was Head of Global Banking and Investment Banking at HSBC Turkey until 2014 following the role he took on as Investment Banking Director responsible from Middle East, North Africa and Turkey (MENAT) in Dubai. Selim Kervancı was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Turkey on 1 July 2016.

Selim Kervancı is also Chairman of HSBC Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş. (Securities Company).
