DeepNeed is an AI-based platform for increasing customer loyalty and reducing churn for brick-and-mortar retailers. DeepNeed’s co-founder and lead data scientist, Ivan Markov shared their startup’s insight with us. 

When and why did you found your startup?

We realized that the volume of spam from brick-and-mortar retailers lead us to block/unsubscribe in most cases. That's why we decided to bring the e-commerce level of personalization to offline retail. We believe that our AI models can solve this problem, that’s why we founded DeepNeed in 2016.

We are a team of four, two co-founders, one production responsible, and one digital marketing responsible.

What are your key and unique features?

GDPR compliance (no personal data used), the platform’s versatility, and the quality of predictions are comparable to our e-commerce competitors or higher.

The monthly growth rate of our revenue and users.

What are your plans for the next year and the next five years?

We plan to have the first subscription sales and/or the next investment round. In five years we plan to work in more than 5 geographical regions and have more than 20 clients.
