Startup Challenge is a 1-day open innovation program with 1.5 months of preparation where startups are pitching for the corporate sponsor and partner companies for an opportunity to pilot a product together.

FLOW OF THE PROGRAM

Together with you, we select the challenges in accordance with the global strategic priorities of the sector. Startup Challenges are aiming to facilitate partnership and collaboration between startups and corporate partners.

Format of collaboration and benefits to be decided during this phase; i.e. Proof of concept, participation in a global accelerator, or introduction to the global partners’ network. 

For at least 3-4 weeks Hackquarters opens applications and scouts suitable startups  reaching out mailing via 25.000+ contact list of accelerations, universities and startups and creates an updated database of the ecosystem. Usually we receive 200+ applications for each call; filtering this number up to 15 startups in the pipeline; with the 10+ startups accepted for each Startup Challenge.  

During the challenge day startups are pitching for the jury of corporates and partners  to show off their solutions and present potential pilot projects. 3 winners to be selected by the Jury and recommended for the POC with the partner. 

During the next 5 months startups are joining an intense acceleration program with tailored training and mentorship curriculum, design thinking sprints. Hackquarters is matchmaking startups with global VC and CVCs; and accelerator partners. Together with the corporate partner we set up a POC roadmap with the packed KPI tracking process. Each batch is closed by a Demo Day to show off the startup progress and growth for the selected partners and investors.
