Spiky.ai uses AI-based sentiment analysis to examine videos from online learnings/meetings to boost engagement. Founded in 2020, Spikey.ai is based in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. T co-founder, sat down to talk about their startup journey with us. 

Tell us about your team.

We are a team of 15 people, including 6 PhDs and 3 MSc, all from top schools around the globe. One co-founder has several patents and many publications in the field and has worked on creating processors that adapt based on which applications the user is currently running. The other Co-founder has researched analyzing and extracting information from supercomputers made out of thousands of nodes.

When and why did you found your startup?

In 2020, we wanted to enhance the potential of people and, with the onset of Covid, found the mounds of data accumulating from online learnings and meetings.

What are your key and unique features?

We have 19 parallel ML models analyzing 42 different engagement metrics. No one provides insights as deep as ours. We offer easy integration into your favorite video conferencing tools.

What is your startups' stage?

We are currently scaling our business; we have more than $25,000 revenue per month.

Tell us about the numbers that matter to you.

We care most about the number of PoCs; we wish to reach 100 by year-end.

What are your plans for the next year and the next five years?

We intend to scale our product, get thousands of companies onboarded and prove productivity increases with our product. We also want to enhance integration capabilities to all standard video conferencing platforms. We want to grow our team to 1000+ people and become a unicorn that operates in at least ten countries with 3+ language support.
