‍Tell us about your team.‍

‍Buse Berber Örçen, the CEO, completed her master's degree in microbiology. She continues to do her doctorate on microencapsulation of biological actives in the bioengineering department. Arda Örçen is working on discovering fungicidal and insecticidal active substances of biological origin (microorganisms and protein origin) and production methods using synthetic biology methods. He is still pursuing his doctorate in biotechnology.  He has 2 different start-up experiences before.

‍When and why did you found your startup?‍

The company's foundations were laid in the direction of Buse Berber Örçen's studies against bread mold. The company establishment started with a master's thesis in 2013 (Nanomik Nanobiotechnology). With Arda Örçen in the team, Nanomik Biotechnology has been accelerated as of 2018.
