Startups have been the rising stars of the business world for the last ten years. There is a ranking in the world for how entrepreneurial countries are. The order is decided by how the government is connected with the world, demographics of the population, capital access, skilled laboring, how much a country is developed with its infrastructure, in law, and technological expertise. According to this ranking, the top-5 countries as entrepreneurial countries are listed as; Japan, Germany, United States, United Kingdom, and South Korea. As we can see, Europe, Pacific Rim, and North America dominate all regions with the resources of all economies.


Let’s look into Europe's startups. What are the top 10 startups in Europe? 

First, let's cover the regions of startups around the globe; Africa and the Middle East, North America, Latin America and Caribbean, Europe, and the Asia Pacific. Today's focus of startups will be on Europe. After the United States and Asia's famed reputation across the globe, Europe is the fastest growing and dynamic region for startups. It may not be possible to compare it with Silicon Valley yet, but European cities are on their way to shine in the global startup ecosystem. Although there are shiny cities in Europe, there are also many new rising stars. In the beginning, it all started in London, Berlin, and Paris. But with the current changes and shifts, the ecosystem is getting bigger in Europe, and it is getting harder to follow the trail of cities on the map. Besides the top-3 hotspots, new locations like Wroclaw, Helsinki, and Minsk are becoming rising startup cities

In Europe, there are forty-four countries, and instead of listing the top 10 startups, this post will share the top-5 countries in Europe and their top-2 startups.

We mentioned that the ecosystem began around London, Berlin, and Paris, so it isn’t going to come as a surprise that United Kingdom, Germany, and France are the top-3 countries in Europe.
