I am an industrial engineer with more than 10 years-experience in University-Industry collaborations, patent portfolio management, patent data analytics, Licensing and spinoff creation.
I am leading my own company Patent Effect and also working at Sabanci University technology transfer office as Patent Attorney, IP Management and Licensing lead. I mainly lead patent portfolio management, licensing of IP-based technologies and commercialization of IP-based spinoff companies. I completed my practical technology transfer experiences in NIH (National Institutes of Health, USA), UCLB (UK) and Cambridge Enterprise (UK). I am also creator of Connect4tech program (https://www.connect4tech.org/) designed for fostering technology commercialization by matching patent holders and technology seekers. I am also the team leader of IP CAMP program (https://www.ipcamp.org) which is the first and only training camp in Turkey dedicated to IP management and technology licensing.
I am acting as General Secretary of LES Turkey which is the part of LES International for Turkey.
