Selen İnal continues her career as Clean Energy and Green Transition Consultant at EcoMuse Consulting, which she founded as of 2023. She is also the Country Advisor, Türkiye of EIT InnoEnergy, an independent body of the European Union and the world's largest sustainable energy innovation ecosystem, and a Member of the Council of Engineers for the Energy Transition (CEET), an independent Advisory Council to the Secretary-General of the United Nations.

Selen İnal has over 20 years of experience in various areas of the energy sector. In the past 3 years, she has dedicated her efforts not only to clean energy but also to securing financing for a broader range of green investment projects. She has engaged in business development and successfully gathered significant amounts of sustainable investment projects in industries, agriculture, and service sectors, focusing on resource efficiency (energy/water/raw material efficiency, and waste management). She has served as the Business Development Manager for the EBRD's TurSEFF project at Stantec, as a Combined Heat and Power Expert for the World Bank's "Assessment of Waste Heat Potential in Türkiye" project in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Türkiye, and as a Market Assessment Expert for IFC's "Green Finance Türkiye" project. Prior to this, she has worked in various areas of the energy sector, including power plant investments, energy solutions, electricity trading, electricity market, engineering and design, investor relations, and project financing. She has approached international energy projects from technical, financial, legal, and commercial perspectives, and has conducted business development for energy projects with a total installed capacity of over 2,200 MW, encompassing different types of energy sources such as natural gas combined cycle, hydroelectric, solar, wind, and waste-to-energy. She has provided consultancy services to foreign renewable energy companies and international financial institutions. She has been part of the core team for the project "100% Domestic Solar Panel Production for Türkiye's Energy Independence," which was one of the 23 strategic projects and 19 companies that received "Project-Based Incentive," also known as "Super Incentive," across Turkey as of 2018, earning a 4.2 billion TL incentive.

She is also specialized in green transition, green investments and ESG, being especially strong in creating new markets, developing attractive business models, introducing new technologies and closely following new trends such as decarbonization, electrification, digitalization, e-mobility, distributed generation, and energy storage. She has been active in the entrepreneurship ecosystem since 2009 having various roles as mentor, trainer, jury and advisor. Recently, she has been particularly engaged in sustainable agriculture projects.
